Paris Seine River Dinner Cruise with Live Music by Bateaux Mouches

Took a river cruise with dinner. The tour was an excellent experience to enjoy the scenery. You could sit almost to take photos. The dinner was good although it could have been better, but you are there for the experience so that was worth it.

When looking at things to do in Paris, the idea of a river cruise came up high on our list & quite frankly it’s one of the best things we did. The whole experience is amazing from start to finish. The servers are attentive and kind, they spoke English which is great as my confidence in speaking French is terrible. We both had different starters & dinners and they were wonderful. Beautifully prepared & tasted stunning. We had opted for the Prestige menu as I wanted and uninterrupted view of the Seine, it was worth it. However as you can go outside the slightly cheaper option would have been just as good. We had a violinist & pianist play for the journey, it really set the mood and wasn’t too loud so you could speak. You go past the Eiffel Tower as it sparkles so it’s planned to perfection. One last thing - I read the reviews about not finding it & did a practise run the day before - i’m a worrier. It’s hard to miss it, there are big signs either side of the entrance to the road down to it. Then massive neon red signs on the boats. If you put in Bateaux Mouches in your maps it literally comes up & directs you straight to it. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening & thanks to our server Wally. Our food we had: Octopus Soup Lamb Steak Cheese Chocolate Pie Ps; the only down side I could find to the whole thing was it was probably a little too warm on the boat but at 6 months pregnant I think that was me and being naturally hotter haha, everyone else seemed fine!

Overall great night to celebrate a milestone birthday. Pros: great views, boarding, friendly staff, birthday candle, THE LIVE MUSIC!! Cons: small portions and average for the price point, service was pretty slow and forgotten about a few times, no smoke free section on the roof

I’d give zero stars if I could. We arrived @7:30 , only to sit for almost 2 hours before they told us the cruise was cancelled due to technical issues that they knew about before we even boarded but to please enjoy our dinner… we did not eat and left instead. I asked for a refund but because I booked thru La Vacanza Travel, you need to issue the refund!!
