Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Loire Valley, Loire Valley

Marvel at the Loire Valley's opulent châteaux and taste its famous locally-made wine during this full-day tour from Paris.

Duration: 13 hours

Stop At: Chateau de Chambord, le Chateau, 41250, Chambord France

From Paris, you’ll head first to Château de Chambord. Disney fans will find this castle’s turrets familiar; it was the inspiration for the castle in ‘Beauty and the Beast’. Though originally conceived as a royal hunting lodge, it was built to a scale that must be seen to be believed. You’ll learn all about the castle’s captivating history from your guide, before getting your own chance to explore. Climb a staircase supposedly designed by Da Vinci; enjoy spectacular turret-framed rooftop views; glimpse wild deer around the grounds; and work up an appetite for the next stop.

Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes

Stop At: Blois, Blois, Loir-et-Cher, Centre-Val de Loire

Having worked up an appetite, we'll get back on the bus and on to our next stop - the quaint town of Blois, where you’ll get some free time to enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants located around the beautiful and vibrant Square Louis XII or grab a bite and visit the Royal castle of Blois on your own, notable for its unique mix of Medieval, Gothic, Renaissance and Classical architecture. This Royal castle once was the home of kings Louis XII and François I and presents a tragic history, as the place where Joan of Arc went to be blessed by the Archbishop of Reims before departing with her army to drive the English from Orléans.

Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes

Stop At: Chateau Royal de Blois, 6 Place du Chateau, 41000, Blois France

During the lunch stop in Blois, you may want to visit on your own this Royal Castle

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Chateau de Chenonceau, 37150 Chenonceaux France

Last but not least is a visit to the elegant Château de Chenonceau for wine tasting. The chapel, bedrooms and magnificent vaulted kitchens are still furnished and decorated from times gone by, showing off the castle’s many sweeping stone carvings. Don’t miss the impressive main hall, which spans the river Cher, or the gardens cultivated by Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de Medici – two of the famous owners that earned Chenonceau the nickname ‘the Ladies’ Château’. After a guided tour, you’ll have a choice: continue exploring, or indulge in a second wine tasting in the castle’s vaulted wine cellar.

Three uniquely beautiful castles, good food and wine, all amid the scenery of the Loire Valley: this tour is a feast for the senses.
