We had a great time with April! She answered all our questions, told us about the origins of the food and about the history of Montmatre. She also really helpfully pointed out places we could go for breakfast the next day or places that had a good view of Paris. It really felt like you were being shown around by a local. We got given so many things to try but the triple cream back truffle cheese was our favourite! Would definitely recommend!
APRIL was amazing. First we went on a walk thru Montmarte with stops to collect and taste chocolates and baguettes. She took us to a surprise private tasting room and expertly explained the various French cheeses and meats and how best to enjoy them. This food tour was definitely a high point of our Paris visit!
Abril was a terrific guide! Loved her knowledge and passion! The perfect combination of amazing food! A great way to experience Montmartre!
This was more of a charcuterie night than a food tour. We went to a macaron shop and a crepe stand, then to a dining room where we sampled meats and cheeses with wine. Our guide was fun and entertaining but having been on numerous food tours around the world, this was comparatively lame and overpriced. I had a good time, but we did nothing I couldn’t have done myself in my hotel room. There was no restaurant experience and no neighborhood points of interest. You could do the same tour in any neighborhood in the world. I do not recommend.
This was without doubt the highlight of our trip. Agatha our guide was just amazing. Her knowledge of monmartre and the regions from where the meats and cheeses came from was incredible. The food was amazing with sweet tastes, savoury, meats, cheeses and of course breads. The secret location for our wine and food tasting was just perfect. Loved every minute and mouthful of this amazing tour and met people from so many different places. If your in Paris it's a must do. Thank you Agatha 🤗🤗
